Workshop: Labor at home

labor.jpg

on-line

cost: US$ 30

Have you heard of cases of women in labor who go to the hospital and things like this happen to them?
- they are returned to their home for having little dilation upon arrival
- they were admitted too early and they "helped" them to speed up the process even though the moms preferred not to have unnecessary interventions
- once they were admitted to the hospital they did not know what to do and went through a very uncomfortable process
- labor "did not progress" in X hours and for that reason they had cesarean section

For women who have chosen to give birth in a hospital, who are in good health with healthy pregnancies and healthy babies, to do the first part of labor at home and go to the hospital when they are well into the active phase can prevent the above from happening.
